About Twin Latitude

Look closer.
Ask better questions.

Twin Latitude is an investigative research platform focused on documentation, evidence, institutional accountability, and the questions that remain when the easy explanation isn't enough.

What we do

Twin Latitude investigates stories, systems, institutions, decisions, spending, and events that warrant deeper examination.

The work is built around a simple principle: follow the evidence. That means collecting primary records where possible, establishing timelines, comparing claims against documentation, identifying contradictions, and separating what is established from what remains uncertain.

Twin Latitude is designed to become a public investigative archive rather than a stream of disposable headlines.

Our method

Investigative work requires discipline. A compelling story is not enough by itself. Evidence needs context, sources need examination, and conclusions need to remain proportional to what the record actually supports.

Document first

Primary records, official documents, filings, data, and contemporaneous evidence receive priority whenever available.

Separate fact from inference

Established facts, analysis, allegations, disputed claims, and unanswered questions should not be presented as though they are the same thing.

Build the timeline

Dates, decisions, actions, and consequences are placed into sequence so patterns and contradictions can be examined.

Leave questions open

A responsible investigation can identify what remains unknown rather than forcing a conclusion the evidence cannot support.

An evolving archive

Twin Latitude begins with four open-access investigations. Those first reports are intended to establish the standard of the work and give readers a meaningful public record.

After the initial four investigations, new investigative work is planned to become part of a subscription-supported archive. The goal is to make sustained research possible without turning the public record into a collection of empty headlines.

As the archive grows, Twin Latitude will also provide a way for readers to submit information, suggest investigations, provide documentation, or request a conversation.
